Kwang Studio Art Classes for Young and Old

As an experienced still artist, Bo Guan brings her wealth of experience to her teaching and helps teach her students the fundamentals of drawing to the most advanced in artistic techniques. Kwang Studio is her pride and joy, she has been teaching Art Studies in Winnipeg, Manitoba for over 15 years.

Bo Guan invites youth of all ages from 6 years old to adult to partake in the joys and challenges of the arts. Her affordable classess are hosted both in her home studio at 177 Point West Bay and she now has classes available downtown at the the Winnipeg Chinese Cultural Centre on Sunday.

關氏画苑教授各种不同年龄的孩子。课程基本上是以基础素描为起点的开始。对于个别孩子有简笔画和卡通画的启发教授。關氏画苑注重个别辅导和启发性对基础素描技法的引导，她在教授中注意及时矫正孩子在绘画成长认识过程中的偏差和不好的习惯，注重培养他们对绘画基础素描技法中的物体要有整体性的观察和认识，培养学生反复观察和思考用记忆即默写的能力将自己看到的用手准确地画下来。在这样的过程训练中，更重要的目的是通过孩子在绘画兴趣里，学习到爱心、耐心、同情心和信心。以便使孩子学在绘画中出现的挑战性的问题能积极地面对，并且能积极地用学过的技术去解决和处理自己在绘画中不足之处并圆满地完成一副画。 

關氏画苑主要提供课程：简笔画、漫画（卡通）、素描、石膏素描、水彩画、丙烯油画、油画、国画和书法。
